BrushWalker Alpacas is all about family and the importance of doing something we can all enjoy and be involved in! After wondering around the world over twenty-something years, courtesy of the United States Navy, we wanted to find a place where we could plant some roots, work the American dream of having a family business and enjoy this next phase of our life. One day, while researching dog kennels as a possible business, I came across an article about Alpacas and knew where I really wanted to be – raising Alpacas - it's a great lifestyle that fits our personal goals and values.
Like most people considering a business venture, we invested quite a few hours researching what the Alpaca business was about, how to take care of the animals, and the pros and cons of where the industry was headed in the United States. While we love this business, we understand that raising Alpacas is not for everyone. As we explored, we meet a number of Alpaca owners who made themselves available to help us when we didn't even know what questions to ask. We learned a lot about raising Alpacas and meet some super people along the way.
Our goals are simple at BrushWalker Alpaca - have fun, make new friends and grow our Alpaca business. We will provide the highest quality AmericasPremier® Herdsires; those who have been progeny tested or from progeny tested sires, and females with the phenotypic traits to produce outstanding crias. To realize this goal, and help you grow your Alpaca business, we follow some simple guidelines: We will earn your trust and respect by being honest and up-front. We want you to love this business and these fascinating animals as much as we do! We also follow the philosophy that developing a long-term relationship and helping other Alpaca owners reach their goals is a measure of our success – and we love success!
We look forward to meeting you –
The Brush's – George, Joanne, Andy and Rachel
